Untitled

To spend a life living on a prayer for beans, for rain for life to continue despite the worms of evil continually gnawing at its core

to be reduced to need raw merciless because in this life there is no mercy

The space between thoughts like the space between meals widens

Thighs widen and another life comes into the world

The rains come

The corn is cut

The belts tighten and people fill their bellies with God

And god bends his knees to ask forgiveness.

Untitled freewrite

Archived to the cemetary in my head

All that came before: came and dead

I am fragile: linked in iron to this terrible need for love you me we are bound to kneel before in some corner of our minds driving us to madness:

Its in our nature

He put 2 pistols on the table and said this:

My ability to kill you

your ability to kill me

This is our nature

And back they went into the small of his back and the curve hollowed between his hip bone and belly.

And this is still what makes us me we equal before all men my terrible need for them

touch be touched

be taken given

Take:

Hidden behind guns and funds and whatever else we can find to run from this great candle flame burning down the

wick-spine-middle of our bodies.

Gypsy's secret:

Have no future and no past

Movement devoid of direction is dance

have the the courage to stay in only one place:

walk vertically through heaven and hell

pray for solace

cycle through realities

and move on.

Todavia

Estoy perdiendo sangre

La tierra y yo sangramos juntas

haciendo pinturas sobre el suelo

y ahi nacen arboles

llenos de dulce gotas de

cerezas caendo.
